![]() These are my two favourite motor-sports. Formula 1 is the most technologically advanced open wheeler motor racing competition in the world. The drivers need to be courageous, very fit, and extremely skillful. The races last between an hour and a half and two hours. The high speed of the cars and high levels of grip when cornering, braking and accelerating means drivers experience G forces up to 3 times their body weight. Imagine doing that for an hour and a half with only two, or three, eight second breaks during pit stops. For more information on F1 check out Indoor Trials, often called X-Trial, is my favourite two wheeler motor-sport and although the riders don't reach speeds over 300 kilometres an hour like F1 drivers do it is still a high skill, high adrenaline sport. Riders have to negotiate extraordinary obstacles without putting their feet on the ground and yes it is a race against their competitors and against the clock. For more information check out |
